CIAA was a huge success for Bowden & Levi Publishing, parent company of Klazzy Magazine, and the HoTT SpoTT Magazine. Co-owner Alexis Levi, who is also the first African American woman to own a professional sports team, garnered much media attention while visiting Charlotte.
